'java -jar start.jar' doesn't work!

I wanna use NUTCH, and with NUTCH, I have to install SOLR to see crawled
data.
First, the SOLR operated, but not perfectly. Cuz it doesn't work perfect,
I reinstalled SOLR.
After I reinstall, java -jar start.jar doesn't work. This command means
start SOLR. At that point, the command stopped with the following text.
4258 [searcherExecutor-4-thread-1] INFO org.apache.solr.core.SolrCore -
[collection1] Registered new searcher Searcher@7f13349
main{StandardDirectoryReader(segments_1:1)
Well, because I'm Linux novice, I deleted SOLR by just SOLR-4.4.0 folder.
Without using app center(?).
